"The Triple P Shootout Series" is a Practice for Points in Porter,
OK. There will be 4 weekend shoots March 29&30, July 5&6, Sept.20&21,
Nov. 8&9 for 2008. The Series is put together by shooters wanting to get
back to the basics of Cowboy Mounted Shooting and at the same time
introduce the sport to new riders and their horses in a fun, no pressure
and low cost atmosphere. While there is no payback, 4 buckles will be

info. Sat shoots will be 6 stages starting at 11am entry fee $45, Sun
shoots will be 5 stages and cost $40.00 After Sat shoots stick around
for a pot luck dinner. Meet the cowboys and cowgirls, learn valuable
shooting tips, and share stories around the campfire. |

The Flying C Bar Ranch is one of the
nations top Cutting Horse Facility, check it out at
www.flyingcbarranch.com The weekend before Nationals in Tunica this
superior facility is all Cowboy Mounted Shooting, not shared with
anyone. Bruce & Denise Colclasure, owners of the arena & ranch with
Sandy and James Duke, OK Gunlsingers are going all out to make this a
weekend to remember. Saturday 4/12/08 will start at 8:30am with a class
on your horse's health, bring your horse for expert advise on care, how
to avoid vet bills, how to get the most from your horse. Denise has
taught this class at major cities across American, just recently in
California and New York. The class is only $20.00 for horse and rider, a
real must if you love your horse. 10:30 Saturday starts the State
Championship. They have many cutting horse national events with over 200
horses so they have everything to make this a perfect weekend. Stalls,
only $20.00 a day with bedding, RV limited but only $15.00 a day, and
free RV parking for those with generators, fishing pond, ride on their
beautiful ranch, 2 practice arenas available, large covered arena
exclusively for our event with cantina restaurant, serving breakfast,
lunch and dinner; Best Western Motel close by phone 918-968-9515. Entry
Fees are $125.00 with a special price of $100.00 for early entries,
before April 1, 2008, go online to enter. Added money, big payback,
guaranteed $50.00 of your entry will go to your class plus added money
to the winner of each class. Buckle Option. We will shoot 4 to 5 stages
on Saturday and 1 or 2 plus a special Eliminator on Sunday. Sunday
morning April 13, will start with breakfast in the Cantina and Cowboy
Church. Then the last stages of the Oklahoma State Championship followed
by a Special Eliminator, entry fee $75.00 with $50.00 payback per entry
to each class, special prizes, barbque dinner and awards around 3pm.
Spend the night or head on out to Tunica after a great weekend. |

you a Grand American with lots of cowboy mounted shooting fans, tv
coverage, and added money. Please email for early registration and save
some money on entry fees. |
